The Internet page that is being launched today concurs with the happy moment on which the Hydroelectric of Cahora Bassa celebrates the first anniversary of the reversion for Mozambique, fact that occurred on the 27th of November 2008.
And the occasion couldn’t be better.
The truth is, after acquiring the new identity of Mozambican company it was natural that HCB showed itself and opened up to the world with a new appearance and look. This web page aims to transmit that opening.
During the HCB’s website being, we’ll provide the visitor-reader with the most relevant and recent information concerning the enterprise’s living such as the internal organization, management model, set of the projects, the social commitment activities and the assistance to the local communities.
The web page has an informative character, and therefore, general interest issues will be discussed on it. That’s the reason why the language is accessible not withstanding, sometimes, the complexity of the approached issues, that will certainly please the public in general, students, academics and professionals.
The new identity of the enterprise is displayed by the new logo that we publish today to the country and the world. The predominance of the blue color is a symbol of the clean energy that we produce. The blue waterfalls represent the water from Zambezi river, which turns the turbines, and which movement results in the electrical energy which is the motor of the Country’s development, in the logo represented by the national flag colors.
The funneled shape of the waterfalls represents the basic tool, which is the hand of men and women, working on the electrical energy generating equipment.
We hope that this information may please the visitor-reader.
