VI National Festival of Culture: An Occasion for National Unity

Last Sunday August 1st, the VI National Festival of Culture came to an end. It included the participation of all provinces of the country. This event constituted a striking occasion for the coming together and exchanging of experiences between the various producers of culture nationwide. The Province of Tete made its presence felt, demonstrating its cultural potentials through dances like nhau, mafue and others.

In light of the magnitude of this cultural get-together, and of its impact on the consolidation of Mozambican culture, the Cahora Bassa Hydro-Electric Power Station provided sponsorship to the participation of the District of Cahora Bassa, as well as to the central-level organisation, looking to the success of this great movement of national unity that was the VI National Festival of Culture.
