Higher Polytechnic Instiyute of Songo: from the dream to reality

The province of Tete, specifically the district of Cahora Bassa, already has its higher education institution that is inclined to teaching courses of electrical engineering, mechanics and building industry, thanks to a funding from HCB to the Ministry of Education and Culture. With about 75 students coming from almost every province in the country, this institute is equipped with a board of directors, teacher rooms, classrooms and computer rooms, among other rooms. A hall to welcome the respective students was also built. The funding and construction of that building were under the responsibility of the Hydroelectric of Cahora Bassa.
