Social Responsibility

At Hidroeléctrica de Cahora Bassa, social responsibility follows a policy that determines support for structuring projects with a social impact, and which generate employment and self-employment opportunities in the communities.

We thus regard social responsibility, not as a cost for the company, but as an investment which makes it possible to endow Mozambicans with better capacities to wage the fight against poverty and for the development of Mozambique.
